Our Story
Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe - on Hinge in 2021. At the time, Josh was finishing his final year of medical school in Cairns, while Chloe was studying at UNSW in Sydney. Thanks to Covid, we had to spend the first six months of our relationship long-distance, surviving on endless iMessages and late-night FaceTimes.
When the borders finally opened, Josh was so eager to meet Chloe that he nearly skipped his own medical school graduation just to see her (don’t worry, he made it to both!). After only a few in-person dates, Josh asked Chloe to be his girlfriend - though after six months of constant calls, it already felt like we’d known each other forever.
Since then, we’ve travelled the world together, built a life side by side, and become true partners in every sense. We tied the knot legally last year, celebrated with our Taiwanese wedding in August 2025, and now we can’t wait to celebrate again with our Sydney family and friends who mean so much to us.
