Jason - I was watching a Marshfield basketball game with my friend Michael. We were catching up and talking about life and all the important things that 20 year old dudes do in their sophomore year of college...Michael was Snap-chatting a couple of girls while we were in and out of the game. I looked over his shoulder to see who he was talking to and a cute red head girl caught my attention. I asked Michael who she was, and without much opportunity for a response, I quickly inserted myself into the conversation. Snap chatting and texting at the basketball game progressed to meeting for a first date at OSU and discovering we had many of the same classes. Shared school and friends grew to shared interests, follow up dates, and several years of love leading to our engagement today. Chloe - Kaila and I were in the backseat of the Jordan Suburban driving down the mountain to Bend after a long day of skiing, checking social media and chatting about our dinner plans at Greg's later that evening. I had snap-chatted Michael a picture of the mountain, showing off the bluebird day we had and what he could look forward too in a few days; he responded with a snap of him and his friend at a MHS Basketball game (which I ignored because...Go Bulldogs!). We'd made it back to the condo, changed and were back in the car heading to dinner when Kaila shrieks and tells me one of her friends, Jason, had asked for my number! I promptly snatched her phone away and said under NO circumstances was she to give out my number ( Boys had cooties, still do, and I did NOT text random guys)! She decided not to listen to me and gave Jason my number. A few minutes later, I get a message from an unknown number saying, "Hi this is Jason:) Kaila gave me your number." (or something like that...it's been 6 years....) I didn't text boys, so I tried ignoring it...until Kaila caught on and quite literally wrestled the phone out of my hands and texted Jason back! And that is how we came to be<3
