Travel Note
We truly appreciate your effort to travel to Italy for our wedding! To find the best flight deals, we recommend setting price alerts on SkyScanner in advance. From Glasgow and Edinburgh, you can usually fly to Pisa, Florence, or Bologna with Ryanair and easyJet. Rome and Milan are also great options, though a bit farther away. Both are major transport hubs with excellent train and road connections to Siena, making them convenient alternatives if you’re planning to explore more of Italy or find other flight deals.
Train
Italy has a well-connected and reliable train network, making it easy to reach Siena from major cities like Pisa, Milan, Florence, and Rome. From Florence Santa Maria Novella or Pisa Centrale, you can take a Regionale train to Empoli, where you'll change to a direct train to Siena. The journey is scenic and comfortable. We recommend booking tickets in advance through Trenitalia for the best availability and prices.
Rental Car
You can book a rental car through a variety of agencies at Florence Airport (FLR) and Pisa Airport (PSA), including Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, and Noleggiare. For those wishing to explore Tuscany before, during, or after the wedding, renting a car is a great option. The average price for a 3-day rental from Florence or Pisa airports typically ranges from €100 to €150 for a car. Parking is available at the venue, please let us know in advance if you plan to rent a car so we can ensure proper arrangements.
