Jaden: The first time I saw Chloe was in summer band our sophomore year. I had never seen her before so I knew she was a new student and I remember thinking she was so pretty. Whenever school started Chloe hung around Daley a lot, who luckily sat at the same lunch table as me, Jovani and a few of my other friends. About a month had passed by and I realized I really liked her. I Ioved how energetic she always was and how funny she was. Homecoming was coming up and I decided I was going to ask her to go to be my homecoming date. Whenever I asked her she was very surprised, but she did say yes. Later on I found out she didn’t even really know who I was when I asked her. As homecoming week was approaching, I was talking to my family a lot and I told them I wanted to ask her to be my girlfriend. I decided I was going to do it on October 3rd, 2017, which was the night we had the senior bonfire for homecoming. I remember when she said yes to being my girlfriend, I was so excited. I couldn’t stop talking about it to my family and friends for the rest of the night. Looking back now I realize I never would’ve thought I would be able to love someone the way I love Chloe now. The past 6+ years with her have been the best years of my life, and I couldn’t be more excited to spend the rest of my life with her. Chloe: I met Jaden sophomore year of high school. I just moved to Ropes the summer before sophomore year and knew only a handful of people….granted there was only a handful of people in our class (maybe 30 at the time). I remember Jaden sitting at the same table as me at lunch and in several classes, but at that time I had no idea who he was or even what his name was. When homecoming rolled around someone told me that there was a guy that was going to ask me and I 100% did not believe them. Then 2 weeks later I walked into the old gym and there were a bunch of people standing in there with their phones recording and some guy standing there with a homecoming sign. I remember turning around and looking at my friend thinking that the homecoming proposal was for her, then I turned back around and asked “for me?”. Sure enough the whole thing was for me and I said yes, still not even knowing this guy’s name. I soon learned his name shortly after and he wasted no time asking me to be his girlfriend! After only 2 weeks of knowing his name and talking to him we started dating and the rest is history! The following 6+ years have proved that I was right in giving the boy I didn’t even know a chance because I couldn’t imagine loving and doing this life with anyone other than Jaden!!!
