Why do I have to choose my meal when I RSVP?

Answer

Our venue asks for meal selections ahead of time so they can prepare everything fresh and make sure every guest is taken care of on the big day (including dietary needs!).

Is there a discounted rate for guests to stay at the Dragonara hotel?

Answer

Yes, there is a 15% discount for guests! You can call up the hotel and mention our wedding date and they can sort it for you over the phone or alternatively you can use the promo code: Visit www.westinmalta.com. Under the title 'View Rates', 'Dates' enter your planned arrival and departure date. Under 'Rooms & Guests' enter the amount of Rooms and Guests per room you wish to book. Under 'Special Rates', select 'Corp/Promo Code' and enter this code: 'WD2', Click 'VIEW RATES' to continue with your booking

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal dress code. It is still warm in November but no harm to bring a light cover up for the evening.

Is it easy to get to the venue?

Answer

The Westin Dragonara Resort is a well known hotel and very easily accessible on foot or by taxi. Bolt taxi's are widely used on the Island and a great way to get around. Download the app on your phone and you'll have a car at your feet in a matter of minutes.

Is the ceremony/reception located in the Dragonara hotel building?

Answer

No, the ceremony will be held in the Reef Club Sundeck which is located within the resort. The reception is in the Pavillion Hall which is conveniently located beside the ceremony venue.

What is the weather like in Malta at this time of year?

Answer

Malta is still pleasantly warm in November, though the evenings can be cooler, so bringing a light jacket is a good idea. The sea temperature is still warm so many people still enjoying swimming around this time of year.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We know everyone is travelling to be with us and we are incredibly grateful. Your presence on our special day is more than enough, however, if you do wish to give a gift, a contribution to our wishing well would be sincerely appreciated.

Are you doing anything the day after the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we plan to have a more casual get together on the evening of Saturday the 7th. More details on this to come!
