Jacob and Chloe met through a dating app and had their first date on December 11, 2023, at True Vine Brewing Company. They quickly bonded over their similar interests and sense of humor, like the cult classic Ratatouille PlayStation 2 game. Chloe and Jacob took a slow start to their relationship and built a foundation of friendship first, where love bloomed deep. On July 21, 2024, Jacob officially asked Chloe to be his girlfriend in the Studio Movie Grill parking lot after a date to see Twisters. Thus began the next 14 months of their relationship, which unfortunately was almost exclusively long-distance due to a job relocation for Jacob within weeks. Long-distance was difficult, but despite 2 moves/job relocations for Jacob and 1 move by Chloe, the couple stayed strong. The quality time they shared helped their relationship grow, despite the miles between them. On September 13, 2025 (Chloe's 25th birthday!), they went to the Dallas Aquarium for the day, where Jacob proposed. (It was the only time Chloe had been at a loss for words in her life, followed by the most enthusiastic, tearful "OH MY GOSH YES!"). We can't wait to start this next chapter of our lives together, as husband and wife.
