Anywhere around Hoan Kiem lake or the Old quarter is central!! Depends on your budget, or air bnb is a good option too! Normally air bnb is tucked away or on top of a cafe !! They are cute and fun to find !

How should we travel to places in the city ?

Download Grab app from your phone !! It’s the exact same as Uber. You can order a car or a scooter from this app, or food ;)

How do we buy SIM cards and set up internet for our phones?

How Do We Stay Connected While In Vietnam? If you need a physical SIM, avoid buying it at the airport as they sell them with higher prices. Go back to your hotel / air bnb and just walk around, there will be plenty of phone stores you can buy SIM cards from. Tell them how many days you are staying in town and they will give you options for the amount of 4G you could get. For those that need an ESIM, you can purchase and install it prior to your arrival in Vietnam so you get connected as soon as you touch down. Should we bring cash to Hanoi?

We recommend bringing cash and exchange in Hanoi as the fee is high when you withdraw from the ATM. But if you prefer not to have cash on you, it’s all good too.

Do we need to get a visa to enter Vietnam?

Yes! Go to a travel agent and they will do it for you. The process is quick and cheap too!

Can we bring kids to the wedding?

We truly wish we could invite all our guests’ children to our wedding, however, we are only able to invite the children of our immediate families. Thank you for understanding.

You can definitely get an Grab taxi ( Uber) ! Other wise we will be arranging transport to and from the wedding venue from the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. Please let us know if you would like transportation.
