Have plans changed due to COVID-19?

Answer

Due to COVID-19, we’ve decided to postpone our wedding to 29th June 2021. We hope you’ll save our new date — you can RSVP anytime on our site. Wishing you all health and safety, and looking forward to celebrating together!

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are at Bore Place Bore Place Bore Place Road Chiddingstone Kent TN8 7AR

What time does the wedding ceremony/reception start and finish?

Answer

We ask guests to please arrive at 1pm for a 1.30pm ceremony (the bar will be open!) For evening guests, please arrive for the wedding reception at 7.30pm. Reception ends at midnight.

Can I book accommodation at Bore Place?

Answer

Yes, day guests will be asked about reserving accommodation when you R.S.V.P on our website. Rooms cost £25 per person for single and triple rooms, and £50 per double or twin rooms. Accommodation is limited, priority will be given to guests staying for 2 nights and you will be unable to change rooms between nights. Payment details will be emailed to you on completing your R.S.V.P. Rooms will be made available to evening guests if the venue is not fully booked. Do you have wedding gift registry?

Answer

As we have lived together for over five years we have all the household bits and bobs we need. But if you wish to give a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated. 1st March 2021, but the earlier the better please, especially if you want to book accommodation!

How can I travel to Bore Place?

Answer

Your best option is to car share with some friends as Bore Place is quite rural. But if coming from London you can get a train to Sevenoaks, Edenbridge or Tonbridge and a taxi from the station. Uber may not be available but here are some local taxi companies... Is parking available?

Answer

Free parking is available on site and overflow parking is in the field next door, so please do try and car share with your pals where possible.

I have food allergies/I am vegan/vegetarian. Will there be menu options for me?

Answer

Yes, when you R.S.V.P and select your menu choices there will be a box to fill out any food requirements. Please do ensure you let us know of any allergies so we can let our caterers know.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? What should I wear?

Answer

We are hoping for the ceremony and drinks reception to be outside on grass so avoid skinny high heels or you will be sinking! (Keep your fingers crossed for sun please!) If you are coming Monday night, please bring a jumper and shoes that could get muddy, we're hoping to be able to sit round the campfire and it may get chilly!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We politely ask guest to refrain from taking photos during our ceremony, we have a professional photographer and promise to share the photos with you. Please do feel free to snap away for the rest of the day though!
