Plummer House
Historical Home of Dr. Henry and Daisy Plummer. The grounds have some beautiful gardens that are fun to visit in the summer. Fun fact: Chloe's parents got married here!
Quarry Hill Nature Center
If you're bringing your kids and looking for something fun to fill the time, Quarry Hill is free and open to the public year round. The nature center (see website for hours) has some live animals including birds and fish, a honeybee hive, a snapping turtle named Fredricka who is more than 50 years old, and more. There are also more than 8 miles of beautiful hiking/walking trails here suited for all ages!
Rochester Art Center
Honestly, we don't know what will be here in August, but it might be fun to check out! The Art Center is located downtown next to the river so there are also some nice walks along the river and restaurants nearby.
Rochester Trolley & Tour Co
Rochester History tours on the trolley are about 1.5 hrs long. While we have not actually been on one of the tours, they go through the neighborhood where Chloe grew up so she has seen them pass by many times. If you're interested in learning about some Rochester history and seeing some of the city then you may want to check this out! One of the sights on the tour: the Mayowood Stone Barn (our wedding venue).
Rochester Farmers Market
Saturdays (May-October) from 7:30am-12pm, if you're planning on sticking around for a bit the day after our wedding.
Flapdoodles Ice Cream
Best ice cream in town! Just a few minutes down the street from the Hilton. Fun fact: several of Chloe's brothers have worked here and one still does, maybe you'll see him if you stop in!
The Original Mr. Pizza South
If you're looking for some tasty pizza, this is a great place to go!

Local craft beers and sodas, also some food options.
