Connor and Chloe met in 2020 while working at Boulder Community Hospital. Since both worked in healthcare, they decided that going on a date during lockdown couldn’t be *that* bad of an idea. Their first hike together was at Marshall Mesa Trailhead, followed by to-go margaritas because restaurants were still closed. Chloe found Connor endlessly interesting, and clearly, the feeling was mutual, since he invited her to meet his brother and best friend the very next day. During the lockdown, they were inseparable. From late-night “Moon Ball” tournaments in Connor’s living room to long hospital shifts, home-cooked meals, and endless hours spent in quarantine, they built a bond that only grew stronger through it all. Just six months later, Connor was accepted into graduate school 2,000 miles away. Chloe, who had just begun her first nursing job, helped him move back to the East Coast even though neither wanted to say goodbye. They decided to part ways, but only two weeks later realized they couldn’t imagine life apart. For the next year and a half, they traveled back and forth until Chloe made her first big move away from Colorado to join Connor in Rhode Island, where her mom and grandparents had once lived. Since then, they’ve lived in Utah, New Mexico, and finally found their home together in Arvada, Colorado. Through every move and every challenge, one thing has always remained constant: their love for each other and their shared sense of adventure. Today, they love skiing and snowboarding, camping, hiking, biking, traveling, spending time with their closest friends and family, and raising their giant 120-pound dog, Odie. Connor proposed on a camping trip during a hike up Diamond Peak, completely surprising Chloe. Now, they can’t wait to start their next adventure, marriage. We are so excited to celebrate this day with you all!
