Yes. Our dress code is black tie optional. We kindly ask men to wear either a tuxedo or a suit and women to wear a long dress.
Yes we will be providing shuttles to and from the wedding. They will pick up guests at 3:30PM at each of the 3 hotels with room blocks (Hammett’s Hotel, Newport Harbor Hotel, Marriott Hotel) and bringing them to the venue. After the wedding there will be a shuttle to the after party as well as shuttles that will go directly back to the hotels. After the afterparty there will be one shuttle transporting the wedding party and family back to Oceancliff where they are staying. The afterparty is walkable to the other hotels, otherwise Uber/Lyft is available for transport. Shuttle pickup locations Hammetts Hotel: In the back of the hotel by the parking lot (not in front of the hotel) at 3:30PM Newport Marriott: Right out front under the large awning at 3:30PM Newport Harbor Hotel: On the side of the hotel by Bowen’s Wharf at 3:30PM
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be inside. In the event that it is an unseasonably warm day (over 60 degrees), the ceremony portion only may be held outside.
We have 3 hotel room blocks available. Please check the travel section of the website for hotel details. If you are having trouble making a reservation or blocks are full, please let us know and we can help accommodate.
No! Newport is very walkable! If you are staying in one of the hotel room blocks, you will be able to walk to many places. You can Uber/Lyft from whichever transit option you used. We will have shuttles to and from the venue but everything else is close.
Please check your invitation for the number of guests reserved in your name. If you received a plus one, they’re listed on the invite.
Yes there is parking available for guests.
Please arrive at the venue between 4:00PM and 4:15 PM. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM.
