We actually met through Bumble, an online dating app. Brandon picked Short North Tavern, a small bar in downtown Columbus, for us to meet at. It also happened to be the last game of the World Series in 2016. We hung out and talked for the entire game to get to know each other. We talked and laughed all night long, and even ended up texting each other non stop the next few days. We only went on a few dates after that before making it official. Brandon introduced me to a new love for hockey, and we go to numerous Columbus Blue Jackets games every season. After about a year and a half of dating, we decided to move in together and eventually got our fur baby Ozzie. After getting Ozzie adjusted is when we started seriously talking about our future together. I knew that Brandon was the one for me after he met my family the first time because it was like he was already a part of the family. Brandon had his moment of knowing I was the one when we went to our very first Blue Jackets game together and how excited I was to be there. Over the past few years we have gone on numerous trips together and love spending time with our friends and family. We have been to Chicago, Boston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Houston, Niagara Falls, Canada, Charlotte, and obviously, Savannah! Brandon proposed August 8th, 2019 while we were on vacation in Savannah, GA. We went out to dinner with some friends that lived there, and they set it all up for Brandon to propose right in front of the fountain in Forsyth Park. It was an absolutely picture perfect moment for the both of us, and we are so excited to start this new chapter in our lives.
