FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have kid-friendly activities at the Welcome Party and a kids' station at the reception to keep them entertained. Plus, our ceremony venue has a kids' park if you want to come early and get some energy out.

Question

What’s the weather like in Prescott?

Answer

Prescott in October/November is usually 60 - 70 degrees in the day time. Since the ceremony is outdoors, we suggest bringing a light jacket in case it gets chilly.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend booking a place in downtown Prescott for easy access to wedding events. There are great hotels, Airbnbs, and other accommodation options in the area. See travel section of our wedding website for more details.

Question

What’s The Welcome Party?

Answer

We’re hosting a casual gathering for all our guests the night before the wedding with great company and a hint of Halloween fun. Costumes aren’t required, but festive vibes are encouraged!

Question

Will there be food at The Welcome Party?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be having tacos and other apps plus beer, wine and non-alcoholic options at The Welcome Party. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance.

Question

Will transportation be provided for any of the wedding festivities?

Answer

No, transportation will not be provided. We encourage guests to drive or carpool, as parking is available at all wedding festivity locations. Uber and Lyft are also available in the area, recommended scheduling ahead of time. The Welcome Party and Wedding Reception are both located in downtown Prescott (aka walking distance if your hotel is downtown). The Wedding Ceremony is a 10 minute drive from the downtown area.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors in the Prescott National Forest, note it will be under a covered area. The reception will have both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is outdoor semi-formal—think slacks, collared shirts, and jackets (no ties) and floral or nature-toned dresses. Since the ceremony is in the forest, we recommend comfortable shoes for walking on natural terrain.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to be present and enjoy the moment—our photographer will capture it all! We’d love for you to keep phones away during the ceremony and then snap all the photos you want at the reception.

Question

What’s on the menu at the reception?

Answer

We’ll be serving wood-fired pizza, charcuterie, and more delicious bites, along with curated wines, beer and non-alcoholic options at the reception. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance!
