Pilot Mountain State Park
Chloe grew up next to Pilot Mountain, and it is a very special place for the Blalock family. Chloe's first time with Austin as her pilot, he flew her over Pilot mountain where she grew up. Pilot Mountain is a relatively easy hike with a great view!
Mayberry
Mount Airy, affectionately known as Mayberry, was Andy Griffith’s hometown and the inspiration for the setting of The Andy Griffith Show. Actor Andy Griffith grew up here, and it’s no coincidence that a stroll down Main Street in the "Friendly City" reminds people of the town of Mayberry on the endearing popular ‘60s hit TV series, The Andy Griffith Show. Fans of the show can visit Floyd’s City Barber Shop, the Old Mayberry Jail, Snappy Lunch, and even Andy’s childhood home.
JOLO Winery and Vineyards
JOLO is rated one of the top 100 brunch spots in the country and is also on the list for top 7 wineries outside of California. Reservations for tastings are required. The scenery is beautiful and is only about 30 minutes from our venue!
