Flight

By Air

The closest airport to Château de Cazenac is Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport, approximately a 1-hour drive from the venue. This airport offers flights from several UK airports: • London Stansted: Ryanair operates direct flights to Bergerac. • London City Airport: British Airways offers direct flights to Bergerac. • Other UK Airports: Ryanair provides flights from East Midlands, Liverpool, and Bristol; Jet2 operates from Leeds Bradford, Manchester, and Birmingham; Flybe offers services from Edinburgh, Southampton, Exeter, and Birmingham. Upon arrival at Bergerac Airport, car hire services are available from companies such as Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, and Buggs. We recommend hiring a car to explore the beautiful local area, particularly if you are planning to extend your stay beyond the wedding dates. Alternatively, Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport and Toulouse-Blagnac Airport are both under a 2-hour drive from the château and offer a wide range of flights. Once flights for 2026 are released, we will update you with the best flight options. And then, once we know everyone's flight details, we will put groups together to arrange transport to minimise costs for everyone.

Train

From St. Pancras

You can travel by train most of the way by taking a train from St. Pancras to Paris and then taking the train from Paris to Bordeaux. From here, you have two options, rent a car in Bordeaux to drive the remainder of the journey and make the most of the beautiful countryside. Alternatively, take the 2-hour direct train to Siorac-en-Périgord.

Travel Note

Driving

Driving from the UK to the Dordogne region is an option, though it requires a significant time commitment. The drive from Calais to the area can take approximately 8 to 9 hours, depending on the exact route taken. However, this is a great option if you would like to make the most of your visit to France. Don't forget to do your research on driving in France and make sure you have everything you need before heading out - they drive on the right in France!

Travel Note

Accommodation

We recommend that you stay in either Saint Cyprien or Siorac-en-Périgord to take advantage of the transport we will arrange to and from the venue. There are plenty of options in terms of hotels, Airbnbs, etc., in the local area. We will share a full list of recommended accommodation when they become available online. We have also managed to secure a discount code for Hotel des Augustins in Saint Cyprien, which we will share once the dates are available on their website.
