FAQs

Question

I've never been to a gay wedding before. Are they different?

Answer

The only difference you can expect is that everyone in attendance of our wedding is full of radical love and support for ours and any other same-sex marriage. We recognize that loving us individually is not the same as loving our love. If you find yourself in this boat, we fully support and encourage you sending your love virtually!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate them at the wedding ceremony or reception. Plan on finding some child care for the night to watch over the kids.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would recommend arriving about 30-45 minutes before the ceremony to give you time to explore the grounds and find your seat in time for the "I Do's!"

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at a few different stores! You can click the "Registry" link on the navigation bar to view the different stores and items added to our registry. Thank you! ❤️

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We want our guests to dress to impress! Wear that dress/suit you think is too flashy—here the sky's the limit. Think Met Gala realness ❤️ (We only ask you do not wear an all white ensemble please!)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you are driving, you can pay to park ($10) around the venue. The $10 goes to Washington State parks (it's free if you have a Discover Pass). You can purchase the day pass online (online has a $1.50 processing fee) , or pay at the kiosk when you arrive. https://store.discoverpass.wa.gov/shop/daypass Guests that are staying at the Lodge park for free. We also recommend using Lyft/Uber to get to the ceremony and reception.
