Jared* We first caught each other's eye at an event for young college students from our church. For two people who are naturally introverted, our first interactions were done from affair; the majority of which entailed us being slightly awkward. However, I knew I had Chloe hooked. Perhaps the remains of a recovering anti social homeschooler, or a double major that lost any sense of social life, I finally built the courage to ask Chloe on a date to a local ice cream shop. Little did I know that such a date would be the catalyst that would forever change my life. As we progressed in our friendship, and became increasingly more serious, I knew what I had to do. I did what any man of integrity would do; I turned to Pinterest for ideas. Both Chloe and I enjoyed movies and I knew Chloe's favorite movie was The Dark Night. With the help of Pinterest, I planned a movie date night. I printed off a movie ticked that stated, "Would you be my girlfriend" and asked her on a dark July summer night, following our movie, to be my girlfriend. It was during my senior year of college that I made the ultimate move. Chloe's beauty, convictions, worldviews, spunk, and personality continued to make me awestruck. I knew that Chloe was the one that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I took Chloe to the lake for a picnic. Following our picnic, as we laid on the ground gazing at the sky, I retrieved a ring from my front pocket. As reality set over her face, I asked her to marry me. She said yes. Both Chloe and I now look toward our friends and family, and cannot wait to spend one of the most important days of our lives with those we care about the most.
