Question

What's the parking situation at the ceremony and reception space?

Answer

Ceremony parking: Parking is available at St. Ambrose Cathedral at one of several free visitor lots. The parking lot behind the cathedral is open to visitors at all times and can be entered on 6th Ave. Parking is also available on the weekends to visitors at the lot west of the cathedral and parish hall (enter on High street), and north of the cathedral (enter on Park Ave). Street parking is also available nearby the cathedral and can be paid for using the ParkDSM app. Reception parking: There are very limited spots in the Rollins Mansion circle drive that are reserved for our immediate family, those with disabilities, and elderly guests. We have paid for parking for our guests at the lot immediately next to Rollins Mansion. Please see map at the top of the page that illustrates the route to parking (or, follow the signs once you arrive at Rollins!)

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue capacity we are not able to extend invitations to all our guests’ little ones. Children in attendance will be limited to those who are in the wedding party.

Question

Is Rollins Mansion accessible to people with disabilities?

Answer

Rollins Mansion is a historic building and does have some limitations in regards to disability access - specifically, there is no elevator access. It has been recommended to us by Rollins staff that those with disabilities use the parking spots behind the mansion to easily access the reception space via ramp, and the parking spots near the circle drive at the front of the mansion to access the cocktail hour space. If you have specific questions regarding accessibility of the space, please reach out to Collin and Chloe and we'd be happy to chat further regarding how we can make this accessible for all of our loved ones.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is recommended, dancing shoes are required.
