Question

Will there be smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

There is a smoking section near the front of the building for anyone smoking cigarettes. Cannabis products are strictly prohibited by the venue. There will be venue staff walking around the day of the event. EVERYONE will be asked to leave immediately if anyone violates this. We ask that you respect the venue and our special day by following their rules. If you feel this may be too difficult for you to accommodate to please RSVP no.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We want everyone taking part in our day to have a special connection with us. We ask that attendance is limited to the names addressed for our celebration. However, if you feel that you need a plus one please feel free to reach out to us and we can discuss the situation!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is a child free wedding! No child under the age of 13 should attend. We want everyone in attendance to understand the importance of this day for us. Given our wedding is formal, we feel children may not belong. There will be zero exceptions to this and we will not be providing childcare. We sent our save the dates with plenty of heads up to leave time for people who need to find childcare!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as you know if you can attend. We have limited space at our venue so if you can’t attend we would like to now as soon as possible. We understand that things may come up later that may prevent you from attending our day and that’s okay! An official deadline will be listed at a later date.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage colorful formal wear! By this we mean we prefer you to not dress in all black. We’d love to have some color in our photos! However, if black is what you feel the most comfortable in you are more than welcome to wear it. Please do NOT wear shorts, short skirts, shirts that are not button down and no dresses in white of course :) Keep in mind we will be outside in September and although rare, high heat is a possibility near the end of the month.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We have many guests with food allergies. We will be working with our caterer to make sure everyone has plenty of SAFE food to eat. It’s very important to us that our special day is inclusive to all in attendance! We have reviewed all of the caterer’s allergy procedures throughly. Specific allergies may have their food prepared completely separate from other dishes so it’s very important we inform the staff how many dishes need to prepare. Please contact us so we can make note of your allergy!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot! We recommend sharing rides to prevent crowding in the parking lot but regardless there should be plenty of space. However, you are not allowed to leave your car overnight. If you plan on drinking we recommend getting an uber to and from the venue.

Why is Zola asking for my address?

Answer

For those wondering why you are being prompted to enter your address, please do so! This is so we can collect addresses for our formal invitations. If you do not provide your address you may not be receiving a formal invitation because we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to track down your address!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please arrive 15 minutes before the start time. We would like everyone to be seated and ready. We will not be waiting on guests to arrive.
