Nidhi and Chirag have always been in each other’s orbit—same parties, same garba nights—but somehow, they never connected. Fast forward to Nidhi’s college search: Chirag was head over heels for URI—not for the academics, but for the famous Rhode House calzones. Naturally, Chirag tried to convince Nidhi to join him at URI, but she resisted and went to UConn. Still, Chirag’s first message in 2014 sparked a conversation that never ended. Timing, however, wasn’t their thing. Nidhi was ready to date; Chirag was not. Then Chirag was ready, but Nidhi? Not so much. A long-distance relationship was tricky, with borrowed cars and weekend visits becoming the new norm. Despite the chaos, they realized they were happier together—even when far apart. Just as they thought the long-distance days were behind them, Chirag moved to yet another state. Chirag had graduated, and like any normal couple, he moved to Boston… with Nidhi’s sister. Eventually, Nidhi made her way to Boston in December of 2019, and they were finally under one roof. Life was good: breweries, walks around Jamaica Pond, and some (un)forgettable nights in the city. Then came 2020. The pandemic hit, and Nidhi found herself stuck at home with Chirag… all day, every day. A lot. As in, 24/7. But instead of driving each other crazy, they decided to channel all that extra time and love into something productive: their new friend Zola. Their days suddenly became filled with puppy training, playtime, and taking turns walking Zola in the cold Boston winters. Nearly a decade later, they couldn’t imagine life without each other. With some unnecessary urgency from their parents, Chirag made it official: a ring, a trip to Mallorca, and on December 3rd, 2022, he popped the question—without crying… Now, they’re off on their next adventure and invite you to join them in Ranthambore for the ultimate celebration of love, laughter, and a lifetime of more adventures. ♡
