All guests are welcome to take full part in this Indian wedding by coming dressed in traditional attire. We want you to do whatever makes *you* feel comfortable, and the most fly. What if I'm having issues booking the hotel?

Our discounted hotel rate at the Oakland Marriott City Center is available Thursday (03/07) through Monday (03/11). There is plenty of space on Friday & Saturday but for those who want to arrive Thursday (03/07) space may be limited. If you are having any issue, or getting a rate higher than $149/night please follow up with with Autumn Johnson directly at Autumn.Johnson@marriott.com to reserve your room at our discounted rate. What about transportation?

Answer

The Oakland Marriott City Center, where most of our events are taking place, is a 20 minute drive from Oakland airport (OAK) for those taking a taxi or renting a car. There is secure parking at this venue where guests can come and go for $50/day. On Saturday (03/09), we will be renting a shuttle for our guests from the Marriott to the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens. The shuttle will depart right after the ceremony at 3:00p back for the Marriott. The reception starts at 6:00p. If you would like to reserve a seat on this shuttle, please RSVP accordingly The Mather Redwood Grove at the botanical gardens is accessible by car and there is parking near the gardens for those who want to drive directly. Please note that the lot directly next to the redwood grove may be full and the next closest parking lot is a 10 minute walk.

Oakland (OAK) is about 15-20 minutes (9.7 miles) from the Oakland Marriott, followed closely by San Francisco (SFO) which is about 30-40 minutes (23.8 miles) away from the hotel
