Peter and Chiquita first crossed path in 2005. Peter was working for the City of Norfolk as a computer trainer and Chiquita AKA CC was one of his students. Chiquita stood out in his view, as a person of Great integrity and Moral Character. Her dedication to her faith was unwavering. They became friends almost immediately. Throughout the years, Peter would always check on CC to see how things were going in her life and her son. He would always joke with her and tell her that he would one day play the piano for her wedding, not knowing that he would be the one marrying her one day. Fast forward to 2018, Peter sought the Lord to find his Soulmate. The Lord pointed him to CC. Peter's first thought was, "Lord, CC?". " "Are you sure"? Peter had always seen CC as a friend, but that was it. So, Peter shared with CC what was on his heart and what the Lord showed him. CC's first response was that she had to pray about it and the Lord would have to tell her too. Well, guess what. The Lord did confirm to her that Peter was the man for her. On the 15th of February 2019, Peter asked CC to marry him. While she was looking at the beautiful view of the City of Norfolk from the 18th floor of the Main hotel, he got on his knees and proposed. Her reply was that she would be honored to be his wife. So after over 14 years of friendship, Peter and CC will wed in the fall.

On 9/7/2019, Peter Georges and Chiquita Crandell will wed in Holy Matrimony. The wedding ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM. The location for the ceremony is the Ft Eustis Regimental Memorial Chapel. The Chapel’s address is 923 Donnelson Pl, Newport News, VA 23604 The wedding reception which will take place after the ceremony is only a few minutes away from the chapel and will be held at the Ft Eustis, Virginia club. The reception is by invite only. When you RSVP on the Zola page, all of the events that you are invited to will pop up once you enter your name. Our wedding and reception will take place at Ft Eustis, which is a military base. In order to enter, you will need to present your Driver’s license, Vehicle registration and Proof of insurance. If there are no military ID Holders in your vehicle, you will have to go through a vehicle inspection, which can take up to 15 minutes depending on the line. If you prefer to skip the inspection, I can add your name to a list which will then be given to the Military Police. Think of this as a pre-check so you don’t have to stand in the TSA line at the airport. If you would like to participate in this pre-check, I will need your name, driver’s license’s number and date of birth. If you prefer to not do this, I encourage you to give yourself an additional thirty minutes, so you can go through the vehicle inspection.
