Groom
Native Washington, Faux New Yorker, Owner and Operator of the Rachel Meltzer Fan Club. He is very excited to have his closest loved ones participate in what will be the happiest day of his life.
Bride
Best Man
Chip and Matt became friends when Chip joined the Heights Debate Team, which Matt captained. Since then, they have been debate partners, roommates, business colleagues, best friends, and now each other's best man. Beware the disciples of MattChip.
Maid of Honor
Campbell is Rachels oldest friend in the D.C. area! They met in fourth grade at National Cathedral School in Mrs. Turner's class, and Rachel secured this friendship by calling Campbell almost every day to ask her questions about homework; they have been thick and thieves ever since!
Groomsman
Michael Haddy first introduced himself to Chip at a college frat party as Burt Reynolds and they have been friends every since. From pledge brothers to NYC neighbors (in a very loose sense), they still keep in touch and will make it to a Ween concert one of these days.
Maid of Honor
Caroline and Rachel have been friends since sophomore year of high school when they sat next to each other during a computer science class when Rachel said "Mr. Smith, I need help!" and the teacher, Mr. Smith, said "yes, I agree." Rachel and Caroline enjoy thrifting, going to concerts and playing mad-libs together. They have just as much fun together being couch potatoes as they do going on adventures and support each other endlessly (so much so that Caroline helps Rachel and her mom run errands that require a vehicle since neither of the Meltzer women have cars - Rachel doesn't even have a drivers' license!)
Groomsman
Logan is Rachel's brother and Chip's future brother-in-law. He is also a standup guy and someone Chip is stoked to have in his family.
Bridesmaid
Groomsman
Matt and Chip knew each other in high school but became close friends after college. Chip counts Matt among his best and most supportive friends, and is honestly terrified to go to a renascence festival without him.
Bridesmaid
Groomsman
Jamie and Chip grew up 3 blocks from each other but did not become friends until after college. Both die hard caps fans, they try to follow the caps on a road trip with some other buddies whenever life allows.
Bridesmaid
Groomsman
Chip and Vince have been friends since their days at the Heights. Since then, they have lived together (hilarious times) and worked together. They often have big feuds over boardgames but their friendships typically bounce right back after.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Madilene have been friends since their senior year at Furman University where they took a Communications Law class together. Madilene is the yin to Rachel's yang; seemingly different at first glance but deeply similar at the same time. They are each other's biggest cheerleaders, embracing and encouraging their differences and learning from each other constantly. If there was ever a perfect Bipartisan ticket, this would be it.
