We did it!!!

Chip and Andra met at a Delta Sigma Theta Sorority function. Andra saw her handsome chocolate drop across the room and approached him. She asked was he Bridgett's brother. Stunned by her beauty he responded yes and was speechless. She went one way and he another. Feeling the need to talk to her further he searched her out. Long story short...the courtship began! At the time, Chip lived in Texarkana and Andra in Fort Worth. Two weeks later they had their first date. Chip planned a wonderful date night which included dinner at Chamberlains' Seafood and a Comedy Concert. She expected nothing less from this Kappa Man! When Chip went to pick her up for the date, her cousin Marcia came out to the car to see them off, She came down to see who her cousin was going out with. Recognizing this, Chip told Marcia to take a picture of his license plate, which drew a laugh but the picture was taken!! LOL. A dozen yellow roses were waiting on Andra at the table when they were seated. The courtship continued... Fast forward...Realizing Andra was the "ONE" he asked her dad for her hand in marriage. Old school to the core!!! After having the "TALK" with her dad and getting his approval. Chip contacted her sorority chapter president and friend, Rocky. After obtaining her vow of secrecy, he told of his desire to propose to Andra at a sorority chapter meeting. Rocky and Chip worked out the details and waited until the "DAY". The day was full of surprises, which replicates Chips' personality. 1. A proposal not party promotion. 2. Andra thought she won tickets but got proposed too. 3. Heard her dad was asked for hand 6 weeks earlier. 4. Andra was told Chip didn't have ring but of course he did! Chips goal was to make her proposal different and it was accomplished!! The life of these two love birds is just beginning.

The nuptials will spend 10 days in Bastrop LA!
