Matron of Honor
Chioma is not just my best friend, she is the true definition of one. A best friend is a deeply trusted confidant who offers unwavering support, loyalty, and unconditional love, and that is exactly who Chioma has been to me since 2001, shortly after I moved to America and she became one of my very first friends, and without question, the best of them all. What began in high school blossomed into a lifelong sisterhood filled with growth, laughter, inside jokes, and countless memories. She understands me without words, celebrates my victories as if they were her own, and has stood by me through every season of life, just as she once stood beside me as my Maid of Honor. I am endlessly grateful that we get to do life together, and I look forward to many more years of shenanigans, love, and unwavering friendship. Watching her step into this beautiful new chapter fills my heart with joy. She deserves a love that honors her kindness, strength, and radiant spirit, and I could not be happier to see her marry someone truly worthy of her heart. #BFF
Matron of Honor
I have known Chioma since before diapers. Chioma has always been another big sister to me who I’ve looked up to and who has always been supportive, generous, warm, and endlessly supportive to everyone she meets. I had no doubts in my move to New York because I knew my big sis Chioma was living her best life and I would have a supportive sister there with me. We have been inseparable ever since, sharing late-night talks, spontaneous adventures, and creating a lifetime of memories. I am endlessly grateful to have such an incredible person in my corner. Watching Chioma and Mouhamed’s love grow from the very beginning has been a true joy. Their kindness, laughter, and deep friendship make it clear they were meant for each other. I’m so happy Chioma found her partner and best friend, and I can’t wait to celebrate the beautiful life they will build together. Cheers to the future Mr. and Mrs. Conteh!
Maid of Honor
Chioma and I met in Harlem in late 2016, and from that night on, our universes have been perfectly aligned. What started as a friendship quickly became sisterhood. She’s the kind of person who encourages without judgment, understands without explanation, and keeps it honest with love. Nearly a decade later, the memories we’ve created are priceless, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. Everyone deserves a Chioma in their life. I am beyond excited to celebrate your union and this beautiful new chapter. I love you, sis!

Chioma and I started off coworkers turned friends. Well, actually we always started off friends 😂 since the first day I met her! We met in San Francisco 2019 and have been enjoying our friendship ever since. Growing, thriving, going through life together. I feel blessed and honored to call Queen Chioma my friend and grateful to be her bridesmaid. God bless her forevermore

Chioma and I come from a friendship that started long before either of us were born. Our dads were friends in Nigeria when they were younger, and when life brought them both to America, that bond only grew stronger. When they each got married, our moms became best friends too, talking every week for decades. Our families are woven together so tightly that my parents are Chioma’s godparents, and her parents are the godparents of my older sister. When my baby sister got married in 2023, Chioma and I finally had the chance to build our own relationship, and it’s been one of the sweetest blessings. She is such a positive, joyful presence truly a gift and a vibe, with not a single bad bone in her body. As stunning as she is on the outside(stealing my Auntie’s whole face), she’s just as beautiful on the inside. Chom Chom, I love you deeply. May God always remain at the center of your marriage, and may you live every day wrapped in pure happiness. I know you will be an incredible wife, just like your mom. Congratulations, sis!

I know Chioma because I inherited her from my brother. She was his friend first and then I noticed how incredible of a human being she was, and I realized she had to be in my life too because genuinely good people are too hard to come by. It has proven to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made 😊

A little about Chi & I. We met at the end of September 2013, off campus at St. John’s University through mutuals at the time. We were preparing to head out; a nyc night out on the town but i needed some dress shoes for my look! Without hesistation, homegirl offered me a pair from her shoe collection and a top because I guess mine wasn’t eating at the time. Point is, I looked real good hunny lol. We began hanging out more frequently, making memories around the city and whenever I needed a place to stay after parlaying through New York, Chi would always have room for this Jersey girl to lay her head. Cheers to my beautiful friend, the bride to be!

If am being honest I cannot remember the first day I met the bride super vividly Lol , it might have been one day on the east coast in Maryland I’m not sure but there is a loving explanation for this outside of early onset dementia . The friendship that I have with this amazing woman is like the movie 50 First Dates starring Adam Sandler and drew Barrymore Somehow from the time I met her until this very day every time we talk or get together, I find or learn a new reason why I love her again and again . Most importantly it’s not just one way it’s mutual and the love and acceptance I get from you chioma each and every time has helped molded me into the woman and mother I am today. I love you endlessly for this To the Bride my dearest friend that has accepted me in all phases of my life , thank you for letting me stand by you today , and I am so proud of the woman you are and the new life you are starting Love you Chi

Chioma and my family are very close, as we have known each other for over 30 years. I remember having sleepovers at her house and just always having fun together. As adults, we continued traveling together and supporting each other’s passions and business endeavors. I consider Chioma more like a sister than a friend. I’m so excited and happy for this next chapter in her life! May God continue to bless their union.

I actually didn’t realize Chioma and I were cousins until we finally met face-to-face when she had a layover that brought her to my family home in Atlanta. The timing was pretty funny because I had just injured myself playing basketball a few days earlier, so instead of showing her around the city, I was stuck on crutches and in a full leg brace. Not exactly the most exciting first cousin hangout! But when I visited New York in 2024, I got to see Chioma and Mouhamed together, and it was so special to watch their love in action. They are such a fun and loving pair, and it’s inspiring to see what they’ve built together both personally and professionally. I’m wishing them nothing but the absolute best as they step into this new chapter of life. May God continue to keep His hands on their marriage, and may everything they build together turn to gold.

My name is Fatou and I'm Mouhamed cousin, Chi sister in law. I got introduced to her by Muhammad and she was very pleasant from the beginning and I liked her from the jump because her energy was everything I needed to know about her, that smile is always there. On behalf of our family I would like to welcome her to the Conteh family. We love you wifey!
