We noticed that the invite has two dates listed as the deadline to RSVP- apologies for the confusion! We are asking that guests please RSVP by JULY 14TH. Early RSVPs will help us create a more accurate seating chart. However, we will be accepting RSVPs until JULY 28TH. For any additional help with RSVP, please reach out to the Aso Family.
Yes! All guests are required to RSVP. We will be enforcing the guest list!
We will be starting on time so please be prompt! Information on each event is included in your RSVP details.
For the church wedding, there is free street parking, metered parking, and garage parking adjacent to venue. For the traditional wedding, there will be free valet parking available to guests, however space may be limited. Please include the number of parking spaces needed when you RSVP.
Of course! Please contact Chioma (chiomaaso@gmail.com) to let her know that you'd like to bring a plus one if a guest slot has not been opened for you already. Please keep in mind that we do have a cap on the amount of guests we can invite so there is a possibility that we may not be able to accommodate another guest.
Kids are welcome, however, we do ask that parents supervise their children at all times.
YES! For the traditional Nigerian ceremony and reception, we ask that guests wear PURPLE or GOLD. Think deep purple, lavender, honey yellow, champagne, or anything in that color spectrum.
We are registered exclusively with Zola! Feel free to check our registry and thank you in advance!
The money spray dance is a cultural tradition at Nigerian wedding receptions where guests spray the newlyweds with money to dance with them. The custom is to help establish the couple in their new life together, to show how much they are loved and appreciated, and a symbol of wealth and prosperity for the couple going forward. Bring cash and prepare to have fun!
Great question.....NO! Please do not pick up the money sprayed during the money dance! The money is meant for the couple and will be collected by selected family members.
