Weather permitting, we will have our ceremony outdoors and the reception in a covered barn. We recommend comfortable shoes that are good on grass and great for dancing! Weather in the mountains can vary quite a bit, with average temps around 70 degrees in October, so check your weather app before!
We're calling it "Rustic Chic"! Feel free to get dressed up, but make sure you're comfortable outside. Sundresses or cocktail dresses with flats or wedges are perfect for dancing the night away! For the guys, wear khakis and a button-up, throw on a blazer, or don a suit and tie, whichever you feel best in!
We will have a shuttle, safely transporting our guests to accommodations where we have reserved blocks of rooms and cottages. It will run after the reception from 9pm to 11pm and bring guests back the next morning for brunch and to retrieve their cars from 8:45am-11:00am. The shuttle will run about every 20 minutes. There is also plenty of parking at the venue and there is limited Uber in the area.
Yes! The accommodations listed on our Travel page have blocks set aside for our wedding, but there are tons of interesting home rental options in the area, especially if you are looking for a larger cabin for a whole family. Check out VRBO, Trip Advisor, and AirBnb for great options. We would advise that you book any accommodations early, as it is a very beautiful and popular time of year in the mountains.
