Groom
💖 About the Groom – From the Bride's Heart Chinedu is an amazing person. He’s such a calm, thoughtful, and God-fearing man—and I’ve had the joy of watching him grow into what God created him to be… especially for me for this moment. Every time my friends meet him, their first reaction is usually, “Wow! He was made for you.” And honestly, that’s exactly how I feel too, like God practically created this one just for me. He’s patient. He’s kind. His zeal towards the things of God is incredible. And he loves deeply, with both words (though few) and actions (more). Sometimes when I see him, I just smile and whisper in my heart, and sometimes to his hearing, “Father, thank You for this perfect gift.” There are gifts God has placed inside of me—things I’m called to do—and having Chinedu and “Them” walk alongside me, pray with me, encourage me, and dare with me, makes me so grateful. He truly is a blessing in every way. Oh, and I remember how he used to measure his love for me on a 10-point scale—every now and then, I would ask, “How much do you love me?” 😂 Now? There are no more scales. We give God all the glory. 😊💕
Bride
* About the Bride: From the Groom’s Heart I am grateful to God that I met Miriam. She is supportive, a goal-getter, and always there to encourage. She is prayerful, compassionate, wise, dependable, kind-hearted, resilient, and deeply inspiring. Her presence brings peace, and her words carry strength. A true blessing and a constant reminder of God’s faithfulness.
Best Man
I’m Ademola, also known as Asiwaju. I’ve had the incredible honor of being friends with Chinedu for over twenty years, and our bond has only grown stronger with time, grounded in shared values and God’s grace. I still remember when Chinedu first told me about Miriam —we were planning and working on my PhD defense remotely as I lived in Switzerland, and he couldn't stop talking about how amazing Miriam is. He spoke confidently about how Miriam was already helping him envision his own PhD journey and defense, how supportive and insightful she has been. At that moment, Chinedu was beaming, I knew something had shifted. Someone truly special had captured the heart of my brother of two decades. The excitement in his voice said it all. I knew right then that someone truly special had entered his life. Since then, I’ve watched them grow together in love and purpose. Their union is divine, complementary, and truly an answer to each other’s prayers. To Chinedu and Miriam—may your love continue to flourish!
Maid of Honor
Hi, I'm Alexandra Hagan, but to my family, I'm called Adia—a name that means “first daughter,” and one I carry with pride. I'm the sister of the bride, and being part of this special day means the world to me. By day, I'm a banker. By heart, I'm an ambivert—some days I love quiet time with myself, and other days, I’m the one bringing the energy to the room. But no matter the day, family is everything to me. They are my foundation, my joy, and my greatest treasure.

Flower Girl
Meet 6-year-old Aria, who will be a flower girl for the very first time — and who better to honor than Aunty Ody and Uncle Chinedu! (Side note:) Aria actually prophesied this wedding would happen even before she met Uncle Chinedu in person. Aunty Ody was the very first aunty to meet Aria after she was born, and the two have shared a special bond ever since. Aria absolutely adores Aunty Ody and Uncle Chinedu. She is beyond excited to be part of the wedding party and has already been asking what her official flower girl duties will be. Her only request? “Uncle Chinedu has to let me know when he’s about to kiss Aunty Ody so I can close my eyes!” Aria loves reading and writing and is designing a special card to give the couple on their big day. She truly cannot wait to celebrate with them!
Flower Girl
Hello! My name is Wilma Utibe Hagan. I’m a bright, funny 4-year-old who absolutely loves the colour pink and wearing pretty dresses. When I’m not twirling around in something beautiful, I enjoy creating beautiful art for my family. I also like to sing. I think fruit is super yummy - especially strawberries, grapes, and blueberries! I have a little brother who’s 2, and we have the best time playing together. Helping my mommy in the kitchen and playing games with my daddy are some of my favourite things to do. I’m so excited to be part of my Aunty Oddy and Uncle Chinedu's special day as a flower girl!
