Maid of Honor
Meet Leviya Cole aka Shivay. Growing up I always wanted a sister closer to my age because my biological sister and I are 7 years apart. I wanted a sister closer to my age because I wanted someone that I could “relate” to or experience things together with. God gave me just that, but in his timing of course :). Shivay and I can talk about work, hair, school, God, etc. all in one conversation because that’s just how we roll LOL. I couldn’t have pick a better person to stand by me as i say “I DO”. She is truly my sister/ twin/ Rollie.
Bridesmaid
Meet Murrietta aka “Mur Mur”. We have known one another since our Newell Chapel, singing in the choir days. We reconnected in 2016 as we both began our journeys to becoming registered nurses. She was no longer just a familiar face, she became my study buddy/ my friend, but most importantly, my sister. One memory that we have together that I’ll cherish is us sitting together before an exam. If y’all didn’t know, Mur Mur has some pipes on her and she knows music is my outlet:). As my anxiety started to rise before a test, Murrietta simply used her voice and began to sing a gospel hymn and it casted away the anxiety rising. If I ever needed a piece of sunshine on a gloomy day, she was the sun I needed. As I marry the love of my life, I couldn’t have my ceremony without her light next to me:)
Bridesmaid
Meet Charmaine. My biological sister. Where do I start? We are complete opposites, she is the night to my day, but that’s what makes me love her even more. We have come a LONG WAY from our childhood lol. We argued about EVERYTHING . She told me I was adopted, she called me names, but then later on she would want me to cover her when she was doing stuff she didn’t have any business doing (Hahahaha). We've been rocking with one another since 92’ and I wouldn’t trade her for nothing in the world. If I ever had to bet money on who had my back, I know without a shadow of a doubt Charmaine does:) How could I say “I Do” without her by my side and being the life of the party.
Best Man
Meet Trent. We've been friends since kindergarten. Literally, one of my brothers from another mother. Growing up with someone who can relate to me is one of the best things I could have gotten. Being that we have been around each other for years, it gave us room to have arguments, disagreements and misunderstandings, but we endured the hardships of two guys who are headstrong and want to better themselves and each other. Finding a person to keep pushing when the other one can’t is something very rare in this day and time. We have always been positive to one another, we constantly make each other better, and give advice when needed. I am forever grateful to have him as the Best Man of my wedding and marriage. He’s also a great photographer. Hit him up if you need some shots lol.
Groomsman
Meet T. Cole. This is my blood brother. Coming out the same womb from Collinsville, MS lol. We have literally been in the same house and space our whole life. Just a year apart in age and that’s the only separation we’ve had. Most people say we look alike, I don’t see it. We've been close and nothing has gotten in the way of our relationship. We've fought countless times, but at the end of the day we know where we stand. As we encounter our new journeys in life our bond grows closer. I’m always a phone call away and don't mind giving him my wisdom. I’m blessed to have him beside me as I said “I do.” If y’all need to do anything with horses, call my bro and he’ll get you right.
Groomsman
Meet Givante (Uncle Lup). He has been my boy since 7th grade. We played together on the football field and made sure we had each other’s back. From all the parties and turn ups, we have been through hell together. But one thing stayed constant, the respect we had for each other as men and that is something that can’t be explained. When I ask for his advice, I know he’ll give it to me straight and won’t sugar coat any decisions I ask about. He doesn’t let circumstances get the best of him and will do whatever his mind is set to. Being apart of the crew and his strong backbone got him the name Uncle Lup and I know If I ever need anything, he wouldn’t mind giving it. I appreciate you for accepting being behind me and I wish you many blessings.
Flower Girl
Meet our baby girl, Harlee Elise. She will be preparing the aisle so her daddy can FINALLY marry the love of his life. I thank God daily for giving me a bonus daughter. I have plenty of memories I could share about Harlee. The ones I adore the most with her are when I’m getting off from a 12 hour shift and she is coming to me with her arms wide open:). Having an extra pair of eyes watching you can change your perspective on this thing called life. I’ve enjoyed loving, nurturing, and building a strong bond with her and I couldn’t have asked for a better bonus daughter:)
Flower Girl
Meet Mone. She is our second flower girl. She has the sweetest personality and loves to help when she can, especially with our baby girl. My most memorable moments with Mone are when she is dancing and being in her own world. I love her like she is our bonus daughter and I couldn’t ask for a better flower girl.
