We have some dear friends to thank for this set up. I had just moved home to the Fort after graduating from PA school in Galveston and William had finally made the hop over from Dallas for a job transition. William called me to plan dinner, and we both ensued on our first blind date. In due time, we'd find ourselves to become best friends, in love and now engaged!

We had planned an "us" day. We started the morning with yoga, brunched outside at a favorite place of ours and made our way to my lakehouse. My parents had recently rebuilt the dock and William suggested we go check it out, where there were (conveniently) two chairs set up. After reading Scripture and sharing a few chosen words, he pulled out a ring that surprised me to bits! The rest of the day was just as wonderful as how it started. We then made our way to dinner at his parents house, where I was met by all of our family and friends! Truly, it was the best day.
