As the world started to open up again in the Fall of 2020, we both swiped "right" on each other on a dating app after seeing the Boston Marathon as one of our connections to each other. Our first date was at the Bowery bar in Lower Mills in September 2020, we moved in together March of 2021 and like they say, the rest is history!

John's love of hiking made it's way into the relationship in October of 2020 when he brought Tessa on their first hike together on the Welch & Dickey trail in the White Mountains. It was a cold and rainy day, and although a scary hike, John held on to Tessa's hand the entire time. Fast forward to a year later, and John proposed on that very same mountain!
