FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The civil ceremony is scheduled to begin promptly at 12:00 PM and will last approximately 30 minutes. Please note that this timing has been set by the council, and unfortunately, late arrivals will not be permitted to enter once the ceremony has started. We kindly advise all guests to arrive well in advance to allow for any unexpected delays and ensure a smooth start to the day.

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We’re so grateful for your love and support as we begin this new chapter together. If you’d like to give a gift, cash is warmly appreciated and can be given in person or sent via bank transfer. Details will be shared closer to the day or upon request. Thank you so much for being part of our celebration!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to wear bright, joyful colours to match the celebratory spirit of the day! There’s no fixed colour scheme, so feel free to choose something vibrant that makes you feel festive and comfortable.

Question

Will transportation be provided between venues?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided between the ceremony and the wedding lunch. After the civil ceremony, the bride and groom will be taking photos, and time has been set aside for this. However, please note that the schedule may change slightly on the day. We kindly ask guests to make their way to The Light House promptly to ensure they arrive in good time for the wedding lunch. Directions and parking information will be provided to help you plan your journey.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, the civil ceremony room can only accommodate 30 guests, including the bride and groom. To ensure we comply with the venue’s capacity restrictions, we kindly ask that only those specifically named on the official invitation attend the ceremony. We truly appreciate your understanding and support in helping us keep everything running smoothly.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to capture special moments throughout the day! However, during the ceremony itself, we kindly ask guests to be mindful and discreet when taking photos so everyone can enjoy the experience without distractions. After the wedding, we’d love to see your photos! We’ll be creating a shared photo album where everyone can upload their pictures and memories from the day. https://photos.app.goo.gl/irNNiXGgUJaaizCu7
