Things To Do

In the recent years, we just learned to appreciate the adventures San Francisco has to offer. We would like to share some of the things and places we enjoy when we visit the city.
Ferry Building

Ferry Building

San Francisco, CA 94105

We love this place! There's just so much different foods and gifts you can find. Coffee, chocolate, cheese, empanadas, churros! My mouth is watering just telling you all this. You can also do a guided food tour of the Ferry Building, but requires reservations. Don't forget the Farmers Market opens on Saturdays 8 am to 2 pm!

Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, CA

Walk the Golden Gate Bridge! It spans 1.7 miles. If you choose to walk the whole span, make sure you're wearing comfortable shoes. Don't forget having to walk back to your car. That's a total of 3.4 miles!

Chinatown

Chinatown

San Francisco, CA

If you like dim sum, tea and rolled-up ice cream, or just want to learn more about one of the biggest cultural influences in San Francisco, Chinatown is perfect. We came here and were greeted by lion dancing. Not saying you'll be as well, but it's a beautiful little town worth exploring.

Pier 39

Pier 39

The Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA 94133

If you want seafood, this is it. Clam chowda!

Cable Car

Cable Car

2350 Taylor Street, San Francisco, CA 94133

This is probably the best way to get around the city, and we highly recommend it. You can go to most of the places we recommended just by going on and off the cable car. Fares are available as a single-ride ticket ($7), or via 1-, 3-, and 7-day passes. Single-ride (one-way) fares must be paid in advance of boarding at the terminus. Fares may be paid on-board to the conductor at all other stops. You can also purchase fares via the free MuniMobile app; the cable car lines start operating at 7:30 a.m. and close at 10:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Go on, ride it! What could be better than exploring the city without having to drive through it?

Golden Gate Park

Golden Gate Park

San Francisco, CA

The Golden Gate Park offers a variety of gardens, such as the Botanical Garden, Japanese Tea Garden, and of course, the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden. It has multiple museums, too. Grab some food, have a picnic at one of their vast lawns, and do one of our favorite things to do...people watch!

Union Square

Union Square

San Francisco, CA

Surounded by a large collection of restaurants and shops! Another great place for people watching!

Crissy Field

Crissy Field

San Francisco, CA 94129

It's the perfect place for a picnic with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Deliciousness

San Francisco, CA

Here are some food places we enjoy: 1. Marufuku Ramen 2. Arsicault Bakery 3. Blue Bottle Coffee 4. Osmanthus Dim Sum Lounge 5. Senor Sisig 6. Ghirardelli Ice Cream

For all the days along the way
