Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We request that guests RSVP by July 9, 2025 on our wedding website.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to join in the celebration! We will be providing some kids’ activities and care support. That said, we kindly ask that parents keep an eye on their children during the festivities to help ensure a fun and relaxed atmosphere for everyone. Please let us know if you plan to bring your children when RSVPing so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in the Denver Metro area is typically warm and sunny, with average daytime highs in the high 20s°C (mid-80s°F) and cooler evenings, usually around 13–17°C (50s-60s°F). Afternoon thunderstorms are possible, but they’re usually brief. The sun can be strong, so we recommend bringing sunglasses and sunscreen, along with a layer for evening.

Question

When does the ceremony begin?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4pm. Please arrive at the Inn at Hudson Gardens 15-20 minutes early to be seated.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be held at the Inn at Hudson Gardens. The Inn has a free parking lot immediately adjacent to it. We are also planning to hire a shuttle to provide transport back and forth from the Hampton Inn & Suites Denver/Highlands Ranch (~5 minutes drive away) and will provide more details shortly.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, Hudson Gardens is wheelchair accessible. The entrances, trails, exits, and restrooms are ADA accessible. Accessible parking is available on-site and the paths surrounding the Inn are cement and/or brick. The main entrance to the Inn (facing Santa Fe Boulevard) is the accessible entrance, however, the South side door of the Inn is not (there is a path you can take to the front entrance). The other dirt paths within the gardens are wide, making it easy for wheelchair users to navigate.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are planning to have the wedding ceremony outdoors and the reception indoors. In case of inclement weather, we will have the ceremony indoors as well.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We are happy to have guests take pictures before and after the ceremony and would love you to share them with us! We request that guests keep their phones and cameras off during the ceremony so that we can all be present together.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The wedding reception will end at 10pm. We do not yet have plans for an after-party but will share them here if we make them!

Question

Tell me more about the venue!

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at The Inn at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, Colorado. The Inn is part of the larger Hudson Gardens & Event Center, a beautiful 30-acre property filled with lush gardens, blooming flower beds, tree-lined walkways, and peaceful water features along the South Platte River. The Inn is a historic, wood cabin-like building (with air conditioning!) where we will hold our reception, with a garden space outside where the ceremony will take place.
