It all started with a swipe on Hinge–yes, modern romance at its finest! After chatting online for about a month, we still hadn’t met in person. He never quite worked up the nerve to ask me out…and I was far too curious to wait any longer. So I did what any impatient girl would do–I asked him to grab a drink. We met for margaritas at a little spot in Dorchester, and for the first time in my life…I was early. When he walked in, I immediately lit up. Not only was he incredibly handsome, but he smelled amazing too (an unforgettable first impression). I could tell he was a little shy, which I found completely endearing. We talked and laughed until the place closed, and I left knowing one thing for sure–I couldn’t wait to see him again. By our third date, we were spending every day together. Within a couple of weeks, we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. About a month and a half in, I was already introducing him to my entire family. It may have seemed fast to everyone else, but I knew instantly–he was the one. We quickly realized how much we had in common. We both love cooking, trying new restaurants, traveling, and getting our hands dirty in the garden. Life together felt easy, exciting, and full. Before long, we were house hunting and building a home of our own with our kitty Leo, and I found myself happier than I ever knew possible. And now, here we are. The rest is history! From a lucky swipe to forever partners, we'll always be grateful for that day on Hinge. It brought us to each other–and we've been growing something beautiful ever since!
