Dearest Family & Friends, Love is a journey, and ours has been one of faith, commitment, and deep joy. Sometimes, love finds you in the most unexpected moments. For us, it began in Sunderland in 2021, at a wedding rehearsal. Emmanuel noticed Chi, something about her caught his attention. Two days later, at the wedding, their paths crossed again. What followed was the beginning of something special. With curiosity and intention, Emmanuel made inquiries and reached out. A simple conversation turned into many, and soon, despite the miles between them, their hearts began to draw closer. A long-distance relationship isn’t easy, but love has a way of making the impossible possible. Months later, Emmanuel flew from the U.S. to officially ask Chi out. His actions spoke louder than words—Chi saw his intentionality, his devotion, and his willingness to make their love work. From that moment on, they embarked on a journey of faith, love, and commitment. There were endless flights, late-night calls, and the challenge of different time zones. Yet, they found joy in the journey. Then came a day that would change everything. With a heart full of love, Emmanuel got down on one knee and asked Chi to be his forever. Without hesitation, she said YES! In 2024, we celebrated our traditional wedding, honoring the beautiful cultures and families that have shaped us. And now, we are beyond excited to take the next step—standing before God, our family, and our friends to exchange vows and begin our forever together. Join Us in Celebrating Our Love!
