It all started in a parking garage, southwest corner, fifth floor, Saturday night with a gentle hello and a warm greeting in the middle of Downtown Charleston. An ice cream treat turned into easy going conversation followed by a rooftop view of the city. Small dates between long breaks turned into small trips to lighthouses, beach parades, and spontaneous long drives to whichever destination we chose. Those drives eventually turned into dinners with our parents, holiday trips with families, and hiking adventures with Chico. Camping trips and holidays with family flipped into hosting holidays and dinners in our own home. Their excitement for adventure and the future keeps them moving with much joy. Jonathan continues to goof around and keep Daniela on her toes and both laughing, as Daniela keeps them organized while they plan and build their lives together.

Nothing goes to plan, but everything happens as it should. October 19th, it was another spontaneous weekend trip to sunny Edisto Island, South Carolina. Jonathan devised a small plan for a pre-dinner walk with Chico and a photographer near by. However a slight miscommunication led Jonathan to a frantic search for the photographer and an increasingly confused and hungry Daniela. Having secretly located the photographer, and all plans out the window, Jonathan drove a short way down a dusty road. A clearing appeared in a sun bathed field, surrounded by ancient oaks covered in Spanish moss. This was the perfect setting. After short stroll through the field, Jonathan kneeled down, asked one small question, and all of Daniela's confusion disappeared. Now the two look forward to planning building their future, enjoying and planning adventures all along the way.
