We are choosing not to block off hotel rooms because the majority of our guests are going to book Air BNBs. There are ample Air BNBs in New Orleans at varying price ranges. Happy to assist if you need some guidance!
Yes – There is ample parking at the church and we have reserved a parking lot near Rosy’s for the reception.

June in New Orleans is HOT, ie 90+ degrees. we ask for guests to wear cocktail / semi-formal attire but keep in mind the temperature. The venues will be fully air-conditioned, similar to all indoor places in NOLA.
Yes. Please find some at varying price points on our 'travel' page.
The Mass will begin at 2pm so we ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony. Please note: The reception doors at Rosy’s will NOT open earlier than specified (6 PM). There will be a few hours in between the ceremony and the reception, which allows everyone to check into their hotel, freshen-up, take pictures or go explore the city and grab a drink! We hope you get to maximize your time in our favorite city and take in all that you can. Let us know if you want recommendations!
Bridesmaids will be wearing a rust/terracotta red and our colors will be in the burnt sunset scheme (deep reds, yellows, pinks, oranges).
As of 5/30/22: There is an ongoing surge of the Omicron variant. If you have any cold or abnormal allergy symptoms, it might be COVID19. Please test yourself. If you have symptoms and are negative, wearing a mask as an extra precaution can protect the very young and very old that are attending. Many people test negative on rapid tests the first few days of their infection. Please text me if you have any questions about what to do.
We will be having a cocktail style reception - aka no formal dinner will be served and no assigned seating. There will be ample passed hors d'oeuvres and a large buffet with Cajun / Southern staples. Essentially, you can eat when you want. We will be having an open cocktail bar, so feel free to get fancy and order a Sazerac, Martini, Old Fashioned, etc! Please inform Emily of any food allergies!
It will be easy to get a Lyft, Uber or carpool from your hotels to the church in Versailles. However, we anticipate it may not be easy to find a cab back into the French Quarter. We are planning on organizing busses for guests unable to carpool with family back into the main city. Rosy's is then a short drive (or walk, depending on where you are staying) from the main touristy part of the city.
