Spent two years on the same little island as Chiara. (Another person Chiara liked at first and Michael did not). Likes schedules and lists and is an incredible orator. She has been known to entrance crowds with her stories ranging from her travels to bell peppers and on the fly jingles.
Harrison Siegel

Harrison was Michael's first friend in Peace Corps. Bonded by being the sexiest Palangis (white person in Tongan) to ever land on the island, they used their looks and charm to help the Tongan people through their obsession with Celine Dion. It's been a bromance ever since.
Carmelita Rosner
Bridesmaid
Chiara and Cammy have been (somehow) mistaken for sisters since the age of 7, spent some super cool years obsessed with horses, and both made it through two (separate years) of Peace Corps. Similarly bad at making decisions, Chiara and Cammy differ in that Carmelita wants to live in an earth ship (think hobbit hole) while Chiara...does not.

Joey and Michael did not get along to start with (Chiara and Joey did). That all changed when Michael developed acute strep throat and Joey weathered the Tongan hospital with him. The rest is history.
Rachel Williams

Chiara's college friend who also studied Education. Spent many a weekend morning with Chiara watching cartoons and eating bagels. Watch out gents, she loves crafting, taking pictures of her dog, and loves Cape Cod potato chips more than any other person in the world.

First cousin to Michael. He has always been there to offer advice and support. He has a unique sense of humor....the kind where no one laughs at the end of the joke ;)
Christina Murphy
Bridesmaid
Chiara's Peace Studies-college friend. Spent many a night having deep conversations..sometimes in the library. An excellent plant mom who loves tea cup pigs and dachshunds, with a strong dislike for pants and alarm clocks. Just crazy enough to drive 16 hours with Michael and Chiara in a weekend to see the Cumberland Gap. (Michael drove, Chiara DJ'd, Christina slept-our trip in 6 words)

Aka baby face Hassett. Michael's little brother. Somehow managed to get the worst genes from both sides of the family but he's making it work. Also fine with single ladies approaching him at the wedding. Watch out for his dance moves ladies.

Michael's only sister. When not fighting for mosquito rights, she is depleting everyone's data with videos of her cat. The heroine of the Hassetts.
