Verona (VRN): a convenient option located approximately 1 hour east from Bergamo with easy access by car or train Regional Option: Bergamo (great for European connections) Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY) This airport is a major hub for Ryanair and is a great option if you plan to travel within Europe before or after the wedding. It’s only about 15 minutes from downtown Bergamo.

Options for reaching central Bergamo from the different airports include bus, train, or taxi/private car. Italy is still a little backwards sometimes, and it could come in handy with the cabbies. - DON'T USE THAT CASH TO TIP. Seriously, tipping is not a thing in Italy. Don't do it.
Travel Note
We recommend staying in Bergamo for easy access to restaurants, sights, and transport. There will be a bus to transport people between central Bergamo and the wedding venue, or you are welcome to drive if you rent a car. We are including a handful of hotels (each around ~150 Euro/night) that will be convenient for bus pickup and sight-seeing, but there are plenty of other hotel options, Airbnbs, etc.
