COVID FAQs

We are SO excited to celebrate with you at our wedding on January 29, 2022! Our first priority is to ensure the health and safety of our family, friends, and vendors. The city of Philadelphia requires * updated its COVID 19 guidelines and restrictions. Due to this new mandate, many establishments are requiring proof of vaccination to enter. This includes all of our wedding weekend venues. Upon entering these venues, you will be asked to show your vaccination card (either physical card or picture of the card) and your photo ID. We encourage you to take pictures of both your vaccination card and ID as soon as possible so you will have it on your phone throughout the wedding weekend. If you have not been and do not plan to be vaccinated by our wedding weekend, we look forward to celebrating with you in the future. Love, C & R *Please note that the city of Philadelphia follows and operates under different restrictions than Pennsylvania.
Question

As it relates to COVID, what should I bring the weekend of the wedding?

Answer

Please bring either a physical copy or a picture of your vaccination card AND photo ID. In accordance with current city of Philadelphia COVID mandates, Royal Boucherie, Arch Street Meeting House, and Union Trust (as well as many other establishments in Philadelphia you may choose to visit while in town) will not allow entrance to individuals who cannot show proof of vaccination AND a corresponding photo ID. Arch Street Meeting House is further requiring that all guests wear a mask throughout the Ceremony. Transportation, hotels and other establishments you may visit in Philadelphia will likely also require a mask so we encourage all guests to come to Philadelphia with a mask.

Question

What happens if I forget my vaccination card (or picture of my vaccination card)?

Answer

Unfortunately, if you are unable to show proof of your vaccination status at the door you will not be allowed in the venues in accordance with current city of Philadelphia mandates. We encourage you to double and triple check that you have your proof of vaccination with you for the event.

Question

Can I just show a negative COVID test?

Answer

At this time and in accordance with the city of Philadelphia's mandates, Royal Boucherie, Arch Street Meeting House, and Union Trust will not accept a negative COVID test in lieu of proof of vaccination. If you have specific health issues that prevent you from getting vaccinated, please reach out to Cheyney and Ryan.

Question

What happens if Philadelphia changes their COVID mandates?

Answer

We will work to keep you informed of pertinent changes to the city of Philadelphia's COVID regulations by updating this FAQ section. However, regardless of any potential changes to regulations, we are still committed to hosting a safe event for everyone. Because of this, we will be asking everyone to be fully vaccinated to attend the wedding events.
