Our Story

She said... It was the year 2017 when we met. I was attending a pool party in South Jersey, where Quinn so happened to be at. While laughing and having a good time with my friends I felt him staring at me from afar. He eventually approached us and made, quite entertaining I may add, “small talk”. Before leaving he asked for my social media information instead of my phone number, I guess he was trying to play it safe in case he’d get turned down! As the following months rolled by, we kept in touch little by little, texting here and there. I was very impressed of how nice of a guy he was and how serious he is about Jehovah. We eventually became good friends...laughing, joking and talking about anything. What I liked about him most was his sense of humor, Quinn’s hilarious! Occasionally we’d bump into each other at gatherings but remained friends and nothing more. The summer of 2018, I had two parts on the Regional Convention and Quinn made sure to visit! Stating that he wanted to “catch up“ on the information he missed from his conventions since he had prior assignments. When really he just wanted to see me, his crush, again(LOL)! After that our paths went into different directions...with schooling, pioneering and other pursuits, we’d lost touch for sometime. But life has a funny way of “bringing it around town” and somehow our hearts led us into one destination at an end of Summer/Fall 2019 party - and guess who was there? Quinn!!! And man was he a beautiful surprise! We talked most of the night away and the way we were flowing and how he was talking with me sparked my interest! I was always “shy” around him but he always made me feel comfortable and I loved that we built a good friendship along the way. Quinn asked me out to NYC, shortly after that and the rest is “Our Story”. Our love for each other has blossomed ever since and we will continue to keep Jehovah in the center of our journey first, so that our lives will flourish forever together!

Our story

He said... Back in 2017, despite me having a tight schedule with college and work, I had one specific weekend off and that weekend there was a party in Neptune, NJ. For the most part, being in NJ my whole life I knew everyone that was there, except for this fine woman with the short red hair, who happens to now be my fiancé, Cheyenne. I came alone, and immediately noticed the group of people Chey was hanging around and approached them and said hi, and had the opportunity to introduce myself. As the man that I am I approached her with the typical “hey you look familiar, where are you from?” line and she told me where she was from. I was able to establish common ground of me being close with members of her family, growing up and knowing them for years. I wanted to get her number, but to keep it on the initial friendly level I got her social media information. Months passed, and time to time I’d compliment her on her “highlight” and sharp cheek bones. Overall, I stayed in contact with her and saw each other here and there and more frequently saw each other in Summer of 2018. Towards the end of Summer 2018, I returned back to my original busy schedule with school and work for my last semester, completed months of traveling with my guys, and now fast forward towards the end of 2019 and here me and her are at ANOTHER pool party rekindling with each other and picking up where we left off. How we started initially is where we re-started our life long journey. Each summer that I saw Chey I asked her to text me a list of places where she hasn’t been so I can change that for her. She mentioned to me the Illusion Museum in NYC was her mission for 2019. I took note of that, told her when I was gonna come pick her up, and what time I would have her back and after that the rest was history and is now our present. Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder, and each day with Jehovah’s help we are now about to start our lives off as one flesh... the Steward’s!
