Due to COVID19 we decided to postpone our large wedding. On May 30, 2020 we had a small ceremony and became legally married. We do want to have the reception of our dreams with all of our guests in attendance so, we decided to postpone our big celebration out another year in hopes that the craziness will be done by then. We hope to see you all there.
We met over the summer of 2015 when Justyn had returned home from the Army and Cheyenne was on summer break from college anticipating her move to Pullman to attend WSU. Cheyenne's best friend Courtney had convinced her to attend a house party somewhere in Wenatchee. After pleading with her for what seemed like forever, Cheyenne agreed to go. Meanwhile, Justyn was living with his parents next door to the said house party where he was best friends with the son of the family. He decided to go the party that evening as well. Cheyenne and Courtney arrived at the party, not knowing many people and were sitting in the corner of the deck minding their own business when some newcomers joined the party. Cheyenne couldn't help but think that this one guy in particular was cute and had a nice smile. You guessed it folks, that guy was Justyn. The girls stayed close with each other for the night chatting with different people here and there. Sparks flew when the group decided to start a fire (see what I did there). Justyn was the chosen one to start the fire and inevitably lit his hand on fire in front of the girls who ran for the hills thinking the fire was going to spread. That sealed their fate. Conversation began there, a long game of beer pong ensued where the two got close and personal, deep conversations around the fire, and finally as the girls left the party intending to drive home as they were both sober, Justyn asked Cheyenne for her phone number. She took a chance and said why not and exchanged numbers with him. The rest is history.
