Jason and I had known each other since high school, ours paths crossing through mutual friends. Years later, during a time when I was finding the courage to leave a toxic relationship, Jason came back into my life. We started talking, and what began so naturally quickly became somethime undeniable. He was the person I didn't even know I had been waiting for, showing up with kindness, patience, and love at exactly the right moment. From there, our story truly began.
