What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is formal! We encourage guests to dress in formal evening wear, such as dark suits for men and long gowns or cocktail dresses for women.

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive at least 20 - 30 minutes early to ensure you're settled before the ceremony begins.

Is there parking available at The Hotel Del?

Answer

Yes, there is valet parking available at The Hotel Del, as well as self-parking options nearby. We recommend walking (if accommodations are close), ubering, or using valet for convenience.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors with an afterparty indoors at The Hotel Del’s Carousel Ballroom, where we’ll continue the celebration in style.

What time should I plan to leave?

The reception/after party will run until 1:30AM. We’d love for you to stay and celebrate with us for as long as you’re able to!

Please RSVP by August 1, 2025 via the QR code included in your invitation or through our wedding website along with your meal selection and any dietary modifications.

7. Are there accommodations at The Hotel Del?

Answer

Yes, we’ve secured a block of rooms at The Hotel Del for our guests. If you'd like to stay at the hotel, please reserve your room as soon as possible to ensure availability.

Are there any other accomodations nearby?

Answer

Yes, we have also secured a room block at The Glorietta Bay Inn across the street from Hotel Del. You can book on their website using code "SHORTSLOGAN2025" or call the hotel directly and inform them you are with of our wedding for a special rate.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. If your invite includes a plus one, they’re more than welcome! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration due to venue capacity and to allow all guests (including parents!) a night off to relax and enjoy. We hope you understand and can join us for this special day!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm, so we recommend arriving 30 minutes early to grab a drink, mingle, and find your seat.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We won’t be providing transportation, as both of our hotel blocks are less than a 5-minute walk from the venue. For your convenience, we recommend staying on Coronado and/or booking within our room blocks to keep everything close and easy.

Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?

Answer

Absolutely! Please let us know your dietary needs when you RSVP, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will all take place outdoors, with dancing to follow indoors. It may be warm during the day and cooler once the sun sets over the water, so we recommend dressing in layers or bringing a light jacket to stay comfortable throughout the evening!
