Our story began a little unconventional with the two of us multiple states away, a tweet and Cheyenne tweeting back to me. That started a conversation that blossomed into a goofy "hey girllll" text that I still don't see why Cheyenne even responded to me after that. I am sure glad that she did though. The next few weeks, we texted and would talk on the phone, with Cheyenne playing a little tough to get, but hey, can you blame her? Come to find out, she was moving from New York, to State Line, PA to live with her dad. Just so happens that was only 20 minutes from my old house! After she moved down, our lives were becoming one everlasting love story filled with first and lasts, awkward times and funny times, and plenty of memories that will last forever. Fast forward around two and a half years and there we are, madly in love and moving 4 hours away together with our little fur baby Cona into our own house in Paint Bank. Our first house together, first time living on our own, first time for me being away from family. But we knew that we had each other. After we moved, there were many unknowns but I knew for sure that Cheyenne loves me unconditionally and has been all in with me since the beginning of our relationship. There was really only one thing missing.. a beautiful diamond ring, as perfect as she is, to ask Cheyenne to marry me. After many hours of looking we finally found the perfect ring for her! She knew it was coming at some point, maybe I am just bad at keeping secrets from her or my excitement just bleed through. But on Saturday, September 21st of 2019, I asked the love of my life, my best friend, my soul mate to marry me and spend the rest of our lives together on top of Potts Mountain, where the unknown of what you can't see is left to be determined. To say that I am a blessed man, is truly an understatement. Who would have thought a tweet and a silly text would start such an amazing journey that would end in two people, head over heels in love?
