We’re getting married!

Cheyenne and Darien met at a Halloween party hosted by the bride’s good friend & bridesmaid, Seneca Johnson. Little did Seneca know she was playing matchmaker as well as hostess that night. Cheyenne dressed as Elastigirl (Mrs. Incredible) and Darien showed up as Mr. Clean. Neither of them can quite remember who spoke first but given that Cheyenne knew most of the people there and didn't recognize Darien, she gave him a hard time. "Who do you even know here?" was followed by "so is the white beard and white eyebrows (crest toothpaste, mind you) how you actually look outside of costume?” and when Darien asked "do you have hobbies?" or "what do you do for fun?" in an attempt to get to know her, she responded "what is this a job interview?" He thought it was funny. She liked that.

A few weeks before the proposal, Darien traveled to Mississippi and asked Cheyenne's family for their blessing. He then spent the following weeks secretly gathering congratulation videos from her loved one's and his parents. When the time came, she thought they were just heading out for a fun weekend trip to Seattle as she'd never been before. On the first day, he had a picnic beautifully arranged at Kubota Gardens — where he proposed and surprised her with the congratulations video.
