We're getting married!

Our parents went to school together and remained friends, so we always knew of one another growing up, but never had that 'special connection' as we lived completely separate lives. Last year, we both joined our families at a few bonfires over the weekends, but kept our communication minimal as friends. Time went on and the communication grew, with often 'check ins' during the day, giving each other advice, and sharing our goals in life and what we want. It wasn't until I went across country to visit family- while on an airplane for the first time in my life, Nate unexpectedly asked if he could take me on a date when I returned home. All of the excitement between the plane ride, and the bold question- I didn't hesitate to say 'yes!' Not only were Nate and I growing a stronger friendship by that point, but I was drawn to his invitation to not only take me on a date, but to also attend Church together. The day I returned home, Nate picked me up and we spent the entire day together- a day I will never forget, filled with laughter, joy and the happiest feeling I could ever describe in the presence of an answered prayer. Our love quickly growing and talking about our future, he planned a dinner for both of our immediate families 2 months later to propose. Because when you know, you know. And again, I didn't hesitate to say 'yes!' When God blesses you, you thank Him and you trust Him. And because we both did exactly that, we are now going from 'friends' to husband and wife. Never be ashamed of how much you love, or how quickly you fall. Love fully, love completely, but most importantly love naturally. And don't ever be sorry for loving the way your heart knows how.
