Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Katie Heggie and Philip Chevalier
There are so many great things to do in Portland, you really can't go wrong. We picked our top few for a (too quick) visit. If you have a car, we highly recommend going over to Cape Elizabeth too! Just over the bridge :) and worth the short drive. Tag us in all your Maine pics so we can have FOMO #chevaliyay

Smalls

28 Brackett Street, Portland, ME 04102

Coffee, baguette sandwiches, and trinket shopping in one fell swoop. It's so cute. Get there early to snag a baguette!!

Fort Williams Park

1000 Shore Road, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107

Perfect picnic spot! War forts, swing sets, a walk along the cliff, and rolling fields up against the ocean - and what is apparently "the world's most photographed lighthouse." Very Maine.

Tandem Coffee and Bakery

742 Congress Street, Portland, ME 04102

Katie did marketing for Tandem during her VIA days. Oat milk cappuccino is *chefs kiss*

Hot Suppa

703 Congress Street, Portland, ME 04102

BEST BRUNCH AROUND. Get in line early - no reservations. It's worth the wait.

The Lobster Shack at Two Lights

225 Two Lights Road, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107

Skip all the other spots in Portland (unless you want the 1 inch $48 roll from Eventide - it is good) and go here to get your lobster roll fix. Vacationland at it's finest.

Duckfat

43 Middle Street, Portland, ME 04101

Iconic milkshakes and fries.

Bayside American Cafe

98 Portland Street, Portland, ME 04101

For the Eggs Bene lovers. No reservation - get your name in early!

The Holy Donut

1197 Portland Road, Arundel, ME 04046

Maine Potato Donuts. Get the gluten free sea salt chocolate. Or any of them and thank us later.

Peaks Island

Portland, ME

Katie lived here as a baby. Quick ferry ride from Portland Harbor- easy morning activity for a fun place to kayak, bike, or hunt for fairy houses. 100/10 recommend!!

Mackworth Island

Falmouth, ME 04105

A 30 min loop in Falmouth through the woods and along the ocean. So pretty! Worth the quick drive over.

The Portland Hunt & Alpine Club

75 Market Street, Portland, ME 04101

Cocktails, snacks, good vibes. 10/10.

The Gelato Fiasco Old Port

425 Fore Street, Portland, ME 04101

Maine made gelato. They have dairy free too. Byeeeeeee.

Bissell Brothers

38 Resurgam Place, Portland, ME 04102

If you like beer, this is the place to go.

Green Elephant

608 Congress Street, Portland, ME 04101

Our favorite vegetarian spot. Asian-fusion (?).

Eventide Oyster Co.

86 Middle Street, Portland, ME 04101

OYSTAHHHHSS

C Salt Gourmet Market

349 Ocean House Road, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107

Katie's personal favorite coffee, sandwich, dessert, shopping spot :') yum

Scratch Baking Co

416 Preble Street, South Portland, ME 04106

For their first Christmas together, Phil was gifted 13 of Scratch Bakery's finest bagels. Sea salt bagel with butter >>>>
