Song of Solomon 3:4 “I have found the one whom my soul loves.”

It turns out our story started long before we ever knew it. We found out we actually went to preschool together — though it wasn’t until second grade, when Chet started attending Portland Christian, that our paths truly crossed. From the start, we were total opposites. But somehow, that only made our friendship stronger. We grew up side by side, sharing all the small moments that come with childhood and teenage years. By seventh grade, a little spark had started — a mutual crush that neither of us could quite ignore. We had a short “FaceTime romance” during Covid (ah, young love!), and then dated for six months our freshman year. Even when life took us on different paths, something about us always felt meant to be. During our sophomore year, Liv’s sister predicted we’d end up together — and she couldn’t have been more right. That summer, we started dating again, and from then on, the rest truly became history. On May 24, 2025, we got engaged — surrounded by love, joy, and the overwhelming feeling that we’d found our forever. We can’t wait to start the next chapter of our lives together and celebrate this journey with all of you.
